Belgian King Albert I Commemorative Medal, issued in 1934 to mark the 25th anniversary of King Albert’s reign (1909–1934).This medal was awarded to Belgian military personnel and civilians who served under King Albert I, honouring loyalty and service during his reign — including the First World War period.

The obverse features the profile of King Albert I wearing a laurel‑adorned helmet, surrounded by the Latin inscription ALBERTVS REX (“King Albert”).The reverse bears a crowned “A” monogram flanked by laurel branches, with the dates 1909 – 1934 below, and the engraver’s initials V.D (for Victor Demanet).The medal retains its original yellow ribbon with a central green stripe, symbolising royal honour and remembrance.Condition is very good, showing light age patina consistent with period bronze.
