This Royal Dux Boehemia Model #661, is a sleek Ibex (Mountain Goat) lying down & slightly smiling. Also manufactured in a mass-produced all white gloss version, this combination of high gloss earth-tone glaze variants (shades of grey, brown, and white) is far less common & makes it so much easier to appreciate the detail in his face :)
Because it bears the "Czech Republic" stamp, this piece was produced in the original factory anytime between 1993 and the present day using the certified 1960s molds. It gives you the exact mid-century aesthetic designed by Jaroslav Ježek, but with the durability and pristine condition of a modern casting! Please view all photos as they are part of the description. The figurine appears to be in excellent condition with only very light crazing noted on the underside of the base.
