Thisbandolier is designed to hold M16 rounds on stripper clips and will fit 20rd magazines.
These were originally issued loaded with rounds on stripper clips (10 rounds on each stripper clip) you then loaded the rounds into your magazine.
It was common to put your fully loaded magazine(20 round mags) into the bandoliers as a way of carrying extra magaiznes.
CONDITION: New old stock straight from the originalpacking box markings may vary slightly from photo.
Various dates of issue and re-pack varying from 1968 /69 /70 /71.
