BUDWEISER SET OF 4 - Clydesdales “Covered Bridge” Holiday Steins (Vintage 1984) – CS-62 – Ceramarte Brazil
Beautiful matching set of four original 1984 Budweiser Holiday collector steins, known as “Covered Bridge,” catalog number CS-62.
Each stein depicts the famous Budweiser Clydesdales traveling through a snow-covered winter landscape and passing through a covered bridge, with evergreen trees, fencing and the iconic red Budweiser wagon. The scene is rendered with colorful painted details and raised-relief stoneware decoration.
The underside carries the original inscription explaining that the stein was handcrafted expressly for Anheuser-Busch and depicts the Clydesdale hitch passing through a covered bridge on a snowy winter’s eve.
This design was issued in 1984 as the fifth stein in the annual Budweiser Holiday series and was manufactured by Ceramarte of Brazil.
Each measures approximately 6¼ inches tall and holds approximately 20 oz.
The four steins display beautifully together and are especially appealing for collectors of Budweiser breweriana, Anheuser-Busch memorabilia, Clydesdales, vintage Christmas décor, holiday steins and Ceramarte collectibles.
