This very nice 12” diameter eopachydiscus marcianus ammonite is near-perfect on the display side, with incredible detail down to the center and beautiful sutures adorning certain areas of the surface. This specimen comes from the Duck Creek formation exposure in Tarrant County, TX, where it was found during construction of the Highlands At Chapel Creek neighborhood west of downtown Fort Worth. I personally prepared this ammonite using air tools. This would make a GREAT display specimen.
