The interior lid is inscribed "Le Paris gourmand" with a hand-painted Eiffel Tower. Rochard is one of the most respected names within the Limoges tradition, known for figural work with genuine narrative detail. The figure holds a wine bottle and a small painted note, seated in a fully modeled wingback chair.
