Pretty antique sewing box / jewelry box/ treasure chest. Hand made of wood with carved embellishments of swirls and vines, the lid lifts to reveal small compartments for sewing items or your treasured mementos. There is an old pin cushion that stores inside and swings out to have pins ready to use...(we think a pretty floral fabric over the old foam would look very nice!). Turned spindle legs and feet. There is a slight bend to the lid, which can be seen in the semi-sideways photo (1st photo), and breakage to the 2 corner finials (see last 2 photos). There is a lock, but the key is missing. There is no other structural damage. Light surface scratches which are age appropriate. This handsome little piece measures aprox. 13" in height, 12" in width and 8.5" in depth.
