As. one of the first items in our personal collection, we offer this rare antique ceramic inkwell: a Fowler Phrenology head inkwell by. phrenologist, Dr. Bridges, on stand, circa 1850. It measures 4 3/4"tall. The head has an overall crazed clear glaze covering the complete Fowler phrenological demarkations in gilt. See photos. The rectangular base is impressed"F. Bridges/phrenologist" with gilt embellishments. It is in fine condition.
