Antique oval wood framed lithe-graph of the Mother Mary holding baby Jesus. The pinkish skin tones are subtle and accurate. The head wrap has shades of white and grey/blue brush like strokes adding color to the picture. She is depicted with dark brown hair. Unable to read who signed the picture. Maybe Mary Walker? Date looks like 1905?
Picture is mounted in a wood frame covered with a brown toned veneer. Veneer is showing some wear (see photos). The backing is very fragile. Picture was mounted in Chariton Iowa per tag on the back.
