Beautiful walnut case with decorative glass and ornate pendulum. Normal age-related wear, patina and dial toning consistent with an approximately 140-year-old clock. Original rear “PARISIAN” Wm. L. Excellent antique condition considering its approximately 140-year age. The wooden case presents beautifully and retains wonderful period character.
Expected age-related wear is present, including minor marks, finish variation and patina. The paper dial shows age-related toning/discoloration. The original manufacturer label on the rear is substantially worn but remains identifiable, including the important “PARISIAN,” Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. and Winsted, Conn. markings.
Decorative glass remains particularly attractive and displays beautifully.
