Antique Wood and Felt Cigar Box With Drawer / Factory 993 NY / Gift Box ? For Sale

Offering a rather unusual antique cigar box.Box made of ornate wood and felt. Needs a good cleaning but left in found condition and will let new owner decide what they wish to do with it.I am not sure exactly what this was but am thinking it was a cigar gift box as there is no label of the cigar on it.The top lifts up and has a felt lined interior.The bottom of the box also has a pull out drawer although no knob and if you didn't realize the drawer was there you might miss it.Underneath the bottom drawer is the written part showing the box was from Factory 993 14th District N.Y.While there is no listed brand name on the box, the Factory 993 in NY was known as a producer of the La Palina De Luxe Cigars.Box measures approx. 11" x 7.75" and approx. 6.5" tall.If anyone possibly could provide any addition info I would appreciate it.Quite an old, ornate box.Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
