Antique Wm McKinley 1900 Gold Leaf 1-3/16" Presidential Portrait Pin For Sale

Rare, authentic 1900 William McKinley presidential campaign button. This scarce political pinback measures $1\ \frac{3}{16}$ inches in diameter—representing a premium, non-standard oversized die size—and features a strong front-facing portrait of McKinley set against a reflective metallic gold foil background.

The History: Issued during his 1900 re-election campaign, this button features an explicit "COPYRIGHT-1900" print text line running along the bottom right rim, flanked by his name "WM. McKINLEY" on the left. While gold foil was the dominant thematic element of his 1896 "Gold Standard" run, it was brought back in limited, premium runs for the 1900 cycle, making these explicitly dated 1900 metallic variants highly prized by specialized collectors.
