Description
Beautiful Century-Old Antique William Hulme Covered Tureen (Circa 1922) authentic semi-porcelain covered tureen manufactured by William Hulme at the Wedgwood Works in Burslem, England. This piece features a striking and highly collectible Imari-style palette, showcasing deep underglaze cobalt blue, vibrant rusty orange/iron-red floral transferware, and elegant gold gilt accents along the rims, handles, and lid finial.
The base bears the British Registered Design Number 687744, which officially dates the registration of this elegant Art Deco shape to January 28, 1922. It is a perfect addition for collectors of English pottery or those looking to add a touch of "Grandmillennial" style to their dining room decor.
1 of the large tureens and the smaller one are in good condition, showing normal signs of wear for the age.
The 2nd large tureen has a bit more wear with a crack across the lid and what appears to be a repair where one of the handles was reattached (all pictured).
