Genuine antique oil lamp by Wild & Wessel of Berlin, Germany, converted for electric use. The "W&W" maker's mark is stamped directly on the burner collar — visible in photos. Porcelain body hand-painted with a classical maiden scene in soft pink and gold tones, mounted on gilt brass fittings with a pink porcelain and brass footed base.
Estate sourced from a Northeast Ohio home. Sold with the included fabric shade, which is a later replacement and not original to the lamp — shade removes easily for display or shipping. Electrical function has not been tested; wiring appears period-appropriate for an electrified conversion. Buyer should have a qualified electrician inspect/re-wire before regular use if desired.
