Up for sale is a nice antique W.M. Greaves & Sons cast steel bark spud logging tool. Made in Sheffield, England. 17\" in length with a 1 3/4\" edge. Features a long handle and thick steel ferrule to prevent the handle from splitting. Williams Greaves & Sons was in operation in Sheffield between 1823 and 1850. Weighs in at approximately 1lb, 12oz.
