Beautiful antique/vintage pierced metal lamp component featuring highly detailed floral basket or urn motifs, scrolling ornament, beaded borders and architectural-style columns.
The piece has an old cream/yellow painted finish with extensive natural wear exposing the darker metal beneath. A domed metal fitting with a center opening is incorporated into the piece, consistent with use as part of an older lamp assembly.
Likely dates to approximately the early-to-mid 20th century. No maker's mark has been identified.
Approximate measurements:
5" tall
2.5" across
This is being sold as a vintage lamp part / restoration or repurposing piece rather than as a complete lamp.
Condition is distressed from age and use, with substantial paint loss and chipping, oxidation/discoloration, surface wear, and some bending/irregularity to the thin decorative metal. The upper edge shows notable wear and deformation. Please review all photos closely for exact condition and construction.
Great for antique lamp restoration, assemblage art, altered art, or repurposing.
