Antique Vintage "ALERT AMERICAN LAFRANCE" COPPER & BRASS FIRE EXTINGUISHER - for your consideration, this is an Antique Brass Fire Extinguisher that was manufactured by THE AMERICAN LAFRANCE FIRE ENGINE COMPANY, INC., made in ELMIRA, NEW YORK, U.S.A. This antique has its original bronze cap and it is in great shape as the dark blue high gloss enamel paint has been restored.THIS ANTIQUE IS EMPTY & DOES NOT HAVE ANY ACTIVE INGREDIENTS!!!!IT IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. THIS IS EMPTY. LOOK, LOOK, LOOK at the pictures as they tell the true story of the condition of this beautiful antique.

This beauty is very old and is a copper and brass extinguisher.TRULY RARE and ONE OF A KIND with the high gloss dark blue and red enamel paint restored!!! As the pictures so, this one is polished to the point that you can see yourself in the brass.DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!!!!The original extinguisher hose is still with this antique and I have polished the brass connections to a mirror finish.
The pictures tell the true story of this beautiful antique piece of fire fighting history. This is a RARE extinguisher as it has a beautiful brass shell body with copper accents with the original brass embossed plates. The original high gloss dark blue and red enamel paint for the brass embossed plates has also been restored as well.I have restored the original paint on the cap and the front brass plates with high gloss red and blue enamel paint. Everything on this piece just shines and tells a fantastic story of fire fighting history.This antique is so old that the Underwriter's Laboratories Serial Number is a low "6-digit" serial number on the front plate dates this antique to the early 1910's. 6-digit serial numbers are very rare to come across.Please, please, please look at all the photographs. I have shined this antique as well as possible but this was a tool to fight fires and condition. There are no real noticeable blemishes because any real antique is not mint because it is a real piece. There is also a little residual hazing on the metal because the contents of the antique made contact with the copper and brass, resulting in the hazing. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!!!
This will be a great centerpiece or conversation piece. DO NOT MISS OUT!!!!!!! This antique is the original copper body and I have shined the antique so that you can see yourself in the metal. The construction and serial number of this beautiful antique dates to the early 1910's.
The copper body is in great condition and clearly shown in the photographs. I have polished the brass connectors to a mirror finish as well. The extinguisher measures 24" tall with an 8 and 1/4" diameter. The brass body had been shined. and the true condition is shown in all of the photographs. There are minor blemishes to this real piece of fire fighting history. Any blemishes are seen in the photographs, as this was a piece of fire fighting history and not a repop piece, so please keep that in mind. Given this antique's age, the condition of this beauty is remarkable. Overall, this is a truly beautiful piece.PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES. IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY.
The bronze cap, with the attachment has been restored with the original high gloss dark blue enamel paint and is excellent condition as well. Please do not expect that this antique is in perfect condition and was a piece of fire fighting equipment. It will naturally have some signs of wear and tear that comes with age.
