Antique Victorian Style Miniature Figural Porcelain Bud Vase or toothpick holder For Sale

This charming antique miniature porcelain bud vase features a delicate figural design of a young boy in 18th-century style attire, set against a rococo-inspired scrolled backdrop. Measuring approximately 3 inches in height, this piece exhibits hand-painted details in sage green, white, and subtle pink flesh tones, accented with gold gilt rimming. The scalloped edges and ornate Victorian-era aesthetics suggest it was produced in the late 19th or early 20th century, possibly as a souvenir or vanity accessory. The glazed finish remains largely intact, though typical shelf wear and minor age-related discoloration are visible on the unglazed base. It is a lovely example of European-style porcelain figurines that were popular for curio cabinets and mantel displays. Its small scale and intricate relief work make it a desirable piece for collectors of miniature ceramics or Victorian-themed decor.
