Beautiful Antique Victorian 2-Piece Sterling Silver Sewing Presentation SetThis is a charming, complete 2-piece Victorian sewing necessaire set housed in its original heart-shaped presentation box. This set features a sterling silver thimble and a matching sterling-capped strawberry emery. It still retains its original cream fabric insert and the authentic paper ribbon label reading: "STERLING SILVER 925-1000 FINE". This set is in very good vintage condition, especially considering its age.Sterling ThimbleCompletely intact and stamped "Sterling" on the band. It also features a stamped "11" symbol, which identifies its official size, along with additional antique maker hallmarks.Strawberry EmeryIn spectacular condition. The red fabric lining is thick, strong, and completely free of thinning or fraying. It is structurally sound and is not leaking any of its internal emery mineral filling. The red tassel and its top threading remain in perfect condition.Heart-Shaped Presentation BoxThe original cardboard box is included. Please note that the box has been structurally repaired in the past to preserve it. Because of this repair, there is some visible adhesive/glue discoloration along the inside rim of the box.
