Handsome antique Victorian deep-well wooden picture frame displaying a modern AI-generated botanical rose print.
Includes:
• Glass
• Modern printed AI-generated rose image for sales display- you replace with your own piece.
• Newly hand-cut acid-free mat
• New acid-free backing
The rose image is a contemporary decorative insert, not an antique print or original painting. The buyer can keep the display as shown or replace the image with their own artwork, reusing the mat if its opening suits their piece.
Approximate measurements:
• Overall frame: 13¾ × 15¾ inches
• Overall exterior depth: 3 inches
• Frame’s visible opening before the added mat: approximately 10 × 12 inches
The added mat reduces the visible image area. The 10 × 12 measurement is not a verified artwork fitting size.
Condition: Antique frame shows age-related surface marks, finish wear and loss, particularly on the gold liner, some separation at the corner joints, and a small visible split in the upper outer molding. Please review photographs closely. Mat, backing, and decorative print are newly added.
Frame is believed to date from the late nineteenth century; exact maker and date are unknown.
Will be carefully cushioned and boxed to protect the frame and glass during shipping.
