A matched pair of antique Victorian "crayon portraits," circa 1880s-1900s, made using the era's photo-enlargement technique: a photographic negative was projected onto oversized paper and hand-finished in charcoal and crayon for a hand-drawn appearance.
Depicts a bearded gentleman and a woman in formal Victorian dress. Unsigned, as typical for the process.
Family history holds that this pair originated in early Northeast Oregon, passed down through the family; not independently documented.

- Woman's portrait: ornate gilt gesso frame, original solid milled wood backing panel, intact.
- Man's portrait: quartersawn oak frame with silvered gesso liner.
