Antique Victorian Carved Wood “No Place Like Home” Wall Pocket Letter Holder For Sale

Beautiful antique carved/fretwork wood wall pocket featuring the phrase “NO PLACE LIKE HOME,” floral and foliate carving, and an ornate pierced design.Antique condition with age-related wear and several areas of damage. There is a missing/chipped section of wood along the upper side/back edge, an age split/crack in one side panel, and a small broken/lost decorative section in the carved fretwork as shown in close-up photos. There are also surface marks, small nicks, and finish wear consistent with age.The damage is much less noticeable when viewed from the front and the piece still displays beautifully. I have left the piece as found rather than attempting restoration. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
