Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic piece of late 19th-century Victorian decorative art glass. This mini bud vase is crafted from classic "Clambroth" glass—a highly collectible semi-opaque, translucent cocoa-tan colored glass that feels heavy and cool to the touch. It features stunning, heavily raised hand-painted white enamel flowers and delicate foliage wrapping beautifully around the bulbous body.
• Era: Victorian (Circa 1880–1900)
• Material: Hand-Blown Bristol Opaque Art Glass
• Color: Cocoa Brown / Tan "Clambroth" with Crisply Detailed White Enamel Accents
• Design: Bulbous center chamber, elegant pedestal base, and a flared rim accented with hand-painted dots.
• Dimensions: Stands approximately 5.5 inches tall with a base diameter of roughly 2.25 inches (see photos with tape measure).
• Condition: Excellent antique condition. The glass is smooth with no chips, cracks, or flea bites along the delicate rim or base. The hand-painted white enamel remains exceptionally bright and mostly intact with only negligible shelf wear consistent with age. Features an authentic rough pontil mark hidden inside the interior base from the historical glass-blowing process.
