Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic antique Louis Comfort Tiffany Favrile art glass open salt cellar. Crafted by Tiffany Studios during the height of the American Art Nouveau movement (circa 1900–1910), this delicate cabinet piece features a classic low-profile bowl shape with an elegant eight-point ruffled and crimped rim.
The glass showcases Tiffany’s highly celebrated signature Gold Favrile finish. It displays a rich, warm amber-gold base that radiates a brilliant metallic iridescence when it catches the light, flashing stunning vivid pink, magenta, violet, and soft blue highlights across the ruffles.
Condition
Excellent antique condition. The iridescence is remarkably vibrant and well-preserved. There are no chips, cracks, structural fractures, or flea bites along the delicate ruffled rim. The base exhibits minor, expected shelf wear consistent with an authentic 100+ year old antique.
