Antique Thermoplastic Union Case 4th Plate, GILDED, Berg #3-25G (L756) For Sale

Nice gilded quarter plate union case is in very nice condition overall with almost 100% of the original gold leaf front and back. There are very few minor edge chips and dings from age and handling. Hinges and latches are all perfect. The piece was obviously displayed in its open configuration as the purple pillow has faded slightly. Excellent mat, frame and glass and a great, sharp studio portrait of a well-dressed young man in 3/4 pose. He is identified as Addison Norcross of Virginia. (No additional information found.)
