Beautiful antique Sun Maid cigar box inner label, measuring approximately 9” x 7”, featuring a richly illustrated woman in traditional dress holding a tray of tobacco leaves and a box of Sun Maid cigars against a tropical landscape with palm trees.
The label features striking red, gold, and orange lettering and ornate gold decorative embossing. The detailed chromolithographic artwork is exceptionally attractive and represents the elaborate advertising art used by American cigar manufacturers during the golden age of cigar-label production.
The reverse clearly shows the raised/embossed impression of the artwork, demonstrating the substantial relief used in producing the original label.
