Antique Sterling Silver Hand Mirror Art Nouveau/Victorian Ornate Floral RepousseThis antique hand mirror is crafted from sterling silver with exquisite floral repousse designs on both sides. The mirror is beveled, and the silver has a nice patina. It belonged to my great aunt Louise Sherman, who was born in 1874 and is monogrammed with her initials L S on the back. It is most likely from the Art Nouveau era (1890-1910) and may have been a wedding present. It is twice marked "STERLING."
Condition: Good for its age (estimated to be well over 100 years). The mirror is intact with a few dark spots, especially around the edges.There are some dents in the silver on one side and a pinhole in one of the flowers. Please see the photos for details.
