Antique Star Quilt with Provenance.
Measures 65 x 76.
Hand pieced, hand quilted, and hand bound.
This quilt was registered as part of the Nebraska Quilt project in 1989 and given the Id #4290. There was a lot of information about it with a picture when I did the research. I did a screenshot of what I found.
This is a stunner with fabrics from the 1800s and pieced in 1891. Check out those browns...they are gorgeous. and only two of the browns have shredding.
The star blocks are less than 4\" and there are 120 of them.
Only two have shredding and two have dye bleeds; amazing for it\'s age.
I tried to take pictures of the different groups of stars; so hard to capture them all in a few pictures. I will gladly give more pictures if wanted.
Please see pictures for more details as they are part of the description.
