A beautiful antique sterling silver sewing thimble by Simons Brothers Co. of Philadelphia, it has an ornate engraved floral garland and leaf design and their early script “S” in a shield logo. The thimble is a size 9 and dates to the late 19th to the very early 20th century. It shows expected surface wear from age and use, but is in wonderful antique condition and has maintained its round shape. There is a monogram etched onto one side, but they are worn and don't detract from the beauty and character of this piece.
