Antique Signed Bunny Connell Bronze Hunting Dog Sculpture Limited Edition #9/25 For Sale

This limited edition, signed, bronze cast was sculpted by famed American Wildlife Sculptor, Irene “Bunny” Connell, in the early 20th century. This friendly hunting dog presenting a duck—thought to be one of her earlier works—would make a great edition to anyone’s home. Holding and admiring the piece really brings you back, putting you in mind of an early 20th century smoking lounge. The piece was one of her private works from her time in Wyoming, surrounded by a “fleet of hunting dogs.” It is the 9th of 25 casts made from the original blank, which no longer survives.
