DESCRIPTION
Antique mid to late 19th century clear pressed glass kerosene standing lamp with a beautifully molded classical column and stepped square base. Features a fluted pedestal rising to a lobed font with a decorative applied beaded collar beneath the shoulder. Original brass burner collar with an attractive untouched patina.Molded with crisp ribbing and geometric detailing throughout, reflecting the elegant Victorian aesthetic of the period. The heavy square base is decorated with rows of molded beadwork and supports a fluted column terminating in a finely molded font with leaf decoration around the shoulder.
CONDITION
Overall very good antique condition. Free of cracks, hairlines or repairs. Bubbles and some light swirls evident in the glass. Some tiny fleabite roughage around the bottom of the base (all visible in the images). A LOVELY ANTIQUE SANDWICH GLASS LAMP IN GREAT CONDITION!
