Impressive, Rare and Large Royal Dux Czechoslovakia porcelain sculpture/figurine of a Victorian man holding a guitar. Features beautiful hand painted shading and detail; wearing traditional Victorian garb with feathers in his cap and shrubbery/foliage at his feet. Royal Dux makers mark stamped on the sole with the letter “E” at the center. Handmade in Czechoslovaki in the early 1900’s.
In good pre owned condition. NOTE: The feather in cap is chipped and one of the bows on his shoes are missing though no chipping is present on the shoe. One minor chip on foliage leaf. Minor discoloration present in some areas. All wear blends very well with the piece and is hard to notice and is consistent with the vintage. No major cracks or scuffs to the porcelain or paint; please see photos.
