Up for sale is a stunning piece of American history: an authentic Round Oak Model E16 wood-burning heating stove. Manufactured in Dowagiac, Michigan, by the Estate of P.D. Beckwith, this model is famous for its durability, ornate design, and superior heating capability.
Condition Details:
• Body: The cast iron body is in excellent shape with no visible cracks in the firepot. The original "Round Oak" branding is crisp and clearly legible on the door, legs, and base.
• Nickel Trim: The ornate nickel-plated scrollwork and foot rails are in great condition. Note: The top decorative nickel trim is currently detached (see photos) but is included. It is a simple mechanical fix for someone with basic tools.
