A rare double sided Relicario miniature painting on metal, early 19th century Bolivian-Spanish Colonial. One side with the just the Virgin the other side of the Virgin of Copacabana with Christ and God the Father. These objects of veneration are discussed in great detail in Egan’s Relicario book. It is in good condition overall for age with toning/patina, scattered paint loss, some surface soiling, etc. Please see all photos for condition. A wonderful piece to add to any religious objects collection!
