A rare Victorian custard uranium glass barber bottle, dating to approximately 1885–1900.
This form is typically found in opaque white (milk glass), while the custard uranium variant is considerably scarcer, especially with an embossed scroll-and-bead motif.
The bottle was mold-blown in a 3-part mold, visible in the vertical seams typical of late 19th-century American glasshouses such as Hobbs Brockunier, Phoenix Glass, Northwood, or similar makers of the Wheeling/Pennsylvania region.
Under UV light, the glass glows a strong green, confirming its uranium content.
The body features elegant raised Victorian scrollwork, and the shape is the classic bulbous barber bottle form used for tonics, hair oils, and colognes in barbershops of the era.
