DESCRIPTION:This is a wonderful light oak cased wall clock. The dial is signed with the maker \'ARNSBY NORTHAMPTON\'. This is rare having an 10 inch dial.The movement is stamped with with the \' W & H Sch\' which is the trademark for the renowned makers Winterhalder & Hofmeier, GERMANY who made high quality clocks mainly for the English market.The case ismade fromwonderful light oak which has somesuperb grain and is a wonderful colour.The case has a wonderful patina which can only be gained through age.
If we start with the dial this is marked out with Roman numerals.The bezel is brass. There is also a catch forclosing and releasing thedial.
The case also has a door to the base which is held in place with a catch.The movement is stamped with with the \' W & H Sch\' which is the trademark for the renowned makers Winterhalder & Hofmeier, GERMANY who made high quality clocks mainly for the English market.The clock is ingood working order and is happily ticking away.Theclock comes complete with it\'s winding key and pendulum.AGE:The clock is circa 1880.DIMENSIONS:The approximate dimensions are:
