ANTIQUE PUTZ CHRISTMAS RAM SHEEP
Adorable antique Christmas Putz ram sheep decoration measuring about 2-1/4\" long and 3\" tall. Featuring delicate wood stick legs painted cream with dainty black hooves, this little cutie wears a felted wool coat decorated in a brown spotted design -- bentwood collar is baby blue and stamped GERMANY. Composition head and ears with hand painted eyes, a long snout and red nose - complete with the original embossed brass horns.
Condition is lovely - ram stands firmly - legs are tight - no chips to the ears or nose - no holes, tears, fraying or damage to the coat which tightly wraps the body with no lifting - pattern is so unusual - a bit of tanning spots that blend into the design - coat is very clean. Just a wonderful antique putz ram stick leg sheep - lovely addition to any holiday collection or Christmas display! As shown with some of my other putz sheep listed separately. This listing is for the brown spotted ram only - sorry feather tree is a prop and not included.
