Antique D-Capper bottle capper marked “D-CAPPER, 761 20th St., Detroit, Mich.” This heavy cast iron bottle capper appears to date to the Prohibition era, circa 1920s–early 1930s.Features an adjustable height mechanism and hand-operated lever. The mechanism is still operational. Measures approximately 19 inches tall and 12 inches long.Shows substantial surface rust, oxidation, wear and aged patina throughout, consistent with its age.
