Antique Pre-WWII 1941 Royal Companion Typewriter w/ Original Tweed Case - Serial Number CD173361. Original set manufactured in 1941!!
First produced in July 1939, the production of Royal 'CD' Companion Typewriter Models were drastically scaled back after the US entered WWII on Dec 7, 1941, and production was halted on March 15th, 1942.
This is a vintage Royal Companion Typewriter. It comes with a fully secured original storage/carrying case.
It is in good working condition. Sometimes the arm that pulls the ribbon down sometimes gets stuck and blocks the view of what you're typing. This can be manually pushed back down, and happens less if you type slowly. May be fixed by cleaning/adjusting the arm. Please contact me if you have any other questions!
