Antique Plymouth Mantel Clock with Original Key – Working – c. 1940s – Free Shipping
Add a timeless piece of American craftsmanship to your collection with this beautiful vintage Plymouth mantel clock, believed to date from the 1940s. Featuring the iconic tambour-style wooden case, this mechanical mantel clock embodies the elegance and quality that made Plymouth clocks a household favorite throughout the mid-20th century.
This clock is currently in working condition and has been tested. It winds and runs as intended; however, it has not been professionally serviced, so periodic maintenance or adjustment may be desired for continued long-term operation, as is common with vintage mechanical clocks.
Included with the clock is its original winding key, along with the original instructions paperwork found inside the case, adding authenticity, provenance, and collectible appeal. Original documentation is becoming increasingly difficult to find and makes this an even more desirable example for collectors.
The solid wooden case remains in good antique condition, showing only the expected signs of age and gentle use while maintaining a beautiful finish that displays exceptionally well.
Whether displayed on a fireplace mantel, bookshelf, or table, this clock serves as both a functional timepiece and an elegant decorative accent.
