Antique 19th Century Bronze High-Relief Plaque - Expulsion of Adam & Eve Plaque measuring 9\".

Up for sale is a beautiful antique solid cast bronze decorative high-relief wall plaque. This circular medallion features a highly detailed, classical depiction of the Expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden by an angel.

This composition is a famous period reduction taken from the central panel of the legendary \"Milton Shield,\" originally designed by the celebrated French sculptor Léonard Morel-Ladeuil in 1867.

- Material: Solid cast bronze with a rich golden-brown patina.

- Backside: Features a hollow-back design typical of sand/lost-wax castings of the era.

- Mounting: Includes an original factory-drilled hanging hole for easy wall display or framing.

Good antique condition with excellent, crisp detail and a gorgeous aged patina. There are very minor spots of  verdigris/oxidation.  No cracks or major damage.
