Antique Pairpoint Richmond Cut Crystal Tazza Compote No. 395
Antique clear crystal tazza or low compote by the Pairpoint Corporation, Richmond pattern, similar to No. 395, just a smaller production. Early 20th-century pattern combines suspended bows, matte floral sprays, scrolling ornament, radiating geometrics, ribbed border, and deep cut radial star base.
This design is worked from a heavy ribbed crystal blank, then hand finished and polished with wheel cutting and matte engraving. Smaller compote but heavy for it's size. Unsigned, as most of these came with paper decals only. Approximately 160 mm (6.25") bowl x 95mm (3.75") height.
Condition
- No chips, cracks, fractures, or repairs.
- Noticeable shelf wear on foot, consistent with age. Left un-polished, though most of these will polish out if desired.
- Very light general use wear elsewhere.
- Sits flat, stable.
- Gently cleaned and display ready. No conservation performed.
- No original box or label.
