J. Leo Goodyear Real Estate. After some research, we learned that J. Leo Goodyear was a licensed Real Estate Broker from Hamburg, New York. Measuring 20 3/4” long by 13” wide by 1 1/2” thick, this wood Sign has a black sand-textured surface with large hand-painted gold lettering reading “J. LEO GOODYEAR LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER.” The Sign retains its original molded wood frame, painted black with a contrasting green inner border, as well as the old hanging wire on the back. … As you can see in our close-up photographs, there is scattered age wear and loss to the sand-textured black surface and gold lettering, along with wear, small chips and marks to the painted wood frame. There are no other problems or any restorations.

100% Original is the name of the game. Most items are presented in as found condition, uncleaned and most will clean up considerably as many are barn fresh or newly picked. I leave the cleaning up to the collectors. **My pictures are my descriptions**. I always try to ensure any creases, bends, rust, holes, etc. are present. Please feel free to request additional pictures or any other info you need to make a buying decision. Anything other than original period specific items will be labeled as such.
SHIPPING:
On orders with multiple items; I will make every attempt to combine shipping multiple items purchased into the same package when possible; helping to potentially save some of the overall cost on shipping. That said, inevitably a larger box and a heavier weight will add to the cost of the shipping.
Go ahead and pay. I always refund any unused shipping funds between the items vs. actual shipping. The refund if possible, will show as a ‘shipping discount’. If you prefer, I’m happy to send an invoice for payment.
Foam board, Gorilla Tape, High Strength Packing Tape, Air Packs, Bubble wrap, Plastic and Paper wrap, and peanuts cost money; a lot of money. Shipping rates are high across the industry and I don’t make money off of customers to ship items but I do guarantee items arrive safely, dry. Preserving history. Cans – paper-towel / paper wrap, bubble wrap, air bags, foam board, etc
Signs – 1” Foam utilized for most signs, signs wrapped in paper and then plastic wrap for water protection in most cases depending on item materials. Signs will always be tucked in from the edges to prevent slices and will never appear at your door sticking out of the packing. I send items as I would expect to receive items.
Antiques – Paper Wrap, Plastic Wrap, Bubble wrap, foam board etc
