Authenticity & Manufacturing Characteristics:

This bottle is guaranteed to be a genuine 1860s–1870s original, hand-blown into an iron post-bottom mold (likely at the Whitney Glass Works in New Jersey). It showcases exceptional historical characteristics, including:

• True Applied Lip/Finish: A heavy, crudely applied collar with faint mold seams that fade out completely below the neck.
• Excellent Glass Texture: Beautiful whittle marks/striations along the neck and multiple embedded seed air bubbles trapped within the glass.
• Authentic Base: Deep indented base showing natural shelf wear and scuffing on the corners from decades of sitting on surfaces.
