For Sale: Antique Ogee Clock Hand Carved Center Top Pediment
This is an outstanding handcarved Center Top Pediment. It is structurally solid and undamaged. It has two alligator heads near the bottom that are beautifully done along with a lot of detailed carving.
Pediment measures 12 1/2'' wide (photos 2 & 3). It is approximately 4 5/16'' high at the center. I believe it is mahogany but Ican't be 100% sure of that.
There is one small crack that is not loose or terrible but it has to be mentioned. You can see it in photo 6 near the corner. When looking straight on you can barely see it. Overall this is a really nice piece and rare as well.
