Antique Navajo Diné handwoven ceremonial basket, also known as a wedding basket. This traditional coiled basket features a circular geometric design in warm natural shades of tan, brown, and dark gray.
Measures approximately 13” in diameter and about 3.5” tall. Beautifully aged surface with variations in color that highlight the handwoven construction.
The basket shows age-related wear, including several areas of missing or broken weaving, exposed foundation material, surface wear, and some irregularity to the shape. Please review all close-up photos carefully for condition.
