DESCRIPTION
Beautiful pair of antique Plains Indian deerskin moccasins. Probably Bannock, Lemhi Shoshone or Crow. Decorated with multi-colored seed bead symbolic images. Deer hide thongs. Color and suppleness of the soft hide suggests brain tanning. Sinew stitched. Probably late 19th / early 20th century. Size suggests women\'s or youth\'s mocassin.
