Antique Native American Arapaho Beaded Adult Moccasins - Circa 1900 For Sale

Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic pair of historic Native American Plains Indian adult moccasins. Based on label, these are attributed to the Arapaho tribe and date approximately 1900. Hand-stitched soft brain-tanned buckskin/hide with soft sole construction characteristic of Plains tribes. Features classic geometric strip-beading down center vamp and accented side tabs using authentic antique glass seed beads. Housed in a protective black, glass top, display case. Excellent antique condition for their age. Construction is completed intact. The leather remains rich, aged patina with natural stiffness expected of century old hide. Beadwork is mostly intact with minor vintage thread relaxation and localized bead loss consistent with historic use and age. Please see photos for reference. The moccasins measure 9” in length.
