This is a complete set - dagger, hand-carved wooden scabbard, and original braided abaca shoulder strap / baldric. - Blade: Hand-forged iron, leaf-shaped / double-edged at tip, heavy age patina and surface pitting from age. Has old forging crack and original wire keeper at base. Solid, no wobble.
- Handle: Hand-carved hardwood with classic flared trumpet pommel, dark aged patina from hand oils and use. Adze marks visible.
- Scabbard: Two-piece wooden scabbard with wide flared mouth, hand-incised okir scrollwork and geometric carvings with traces of original red ochre pigment. Original rattan binding intact.
- Baldric: Original hand-braided abaca / leather shoulder sling with woven loop hanger.CONDITION: Good antique condition. Used and aged. Blade has heavy rust / patina - has not been cleaned or wire-wheeled. Scabbard is dry with honest wear, small age cracks. Strap is intact and strong.
