Antique M. S. Co Lamp with Moser Black Hyalith Gilt Enameled Glass Vase Base For Sale

Vintage Bohemian (Czech) black Hyalith glass table lamp base, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (Victorian to Edwardian era, circa 1880–1920s.)M.S. Company table lamp with octagonal gilt bronze stand mounted with a Moser glass vase in deep black glass (hyalith or black amethyst glass) with ornate gold gilt/enamel floral decoration in a wide band, typical of Bohemian glass production from regions like Bohemia (now Czech Republic). The octagonal/paneled shape resembles a classic hyacinth vase form adapted into a lamp base, with gilded brass mounts at the top and base for elegance. The lamp features a two-light cluster socket with pull chains (common in pre-1930s lamps for individual bulb control). This wiring style points to early electrification of decorative glass vases. The base struck "M.S. CO. / DES. PAT. / #0154" to underside. Approx. 24" tall (adjustable height). Excellent condition: See photos for a detailed view.
